Safety is our foundation. Every Cape Care nanny undergoes a rigorous multi-step screening process, including comprehensive background checks, identity verification, reference checks from previous families, and a personal interview to ensure they align with our "heart-first" philosophy.
While we strive to accommodate last-minute requests (especially for our "Mobile" services), we recommend booking at least 48 hours in advance to ensure we can match you with the best possible caregiver for your family’s specific needs.
Absolutely. Many of our nannies have specialised experience or training. Please include any specific requirements in your booking inquiry so we can pair you with a caregiver who is fully equipped to support your child.
We know modern life is unpredictable. We offer a flexible cancellation policy: cancellations made more than 24 hours before the booking are free of charge. Cancellations within 24 hours may incur a small administrative fee.
For long-term or residential placements, we always encourage an initial "Meet & Greet." For short-term or hotel bookings, we provide a detailed profile of your nanny beforehand so you can feel confident and familiar with who will be caring for your little ones.
While we are based in the Cape, our "Travel Nanny" service is available to areas just outside of Cape Town. However, an additional travel fee may be charged depending on the distance from the City.
